What's new in Calories and nutrients counter 2.22

Hello again!
I am glad to introduce the most exciting update for the last years.

I have added two cool features!

The first one is special food portions.
Yes, it means, you don't need anymore to guess how many grams is the apple you have eaten. Now you can just pick a small or a large one and the application will handle it. The whole American database, excluding branded food, has these understandable measurement items. For example, the "Apple, raw" has 10 special measurement items such as: "1 crabapple", "1 cup, NFS", "1 cup, sliced", "1 cup, quartered or chopped", "1 oz, with skin, yields", "1 ring", "1 thin slice", "1 small (2-3/4\" dia)", "1 medium (3\" dia)", "1 large (3-1/4\" dia)".
It is really close to the world.

The second one is creating your products.
If you can't find some food in the application's database, you can create it. And it becomes more powerful because you and other people can share it. There is no need to create it twice. Every time you create or edit an existing product, you can change the sharing options.

That is great but I have even more for you! :)
It is now allowed to create a product based on another product. It will take less time for you.
There is a lot of information you can fill such as: "Name", "Category", "Scientific name", "Common names", "Additional descriptions", "GTIN or UPC" (Global Trade Item Number or Universal Product Code), "Brand owner", "Ingredients" and "Author". Most of them will be widely used in the nearest future. Additionally, you can add specific measurement items.
Right now you can search a product by its name, category description, GTIN or UPC code, scientific name, and brand owner.

These features will change the number of available products and help you to find the right one.
At the release time, we already have more than 391 000 products over the globe!
Which includes: 354 000 branded products; 19 000 foundation products; 8 000 survey products and 7 000 legacy products for English speaking users, and more than 1100 products for Russian speaking users.
And of course, the user's product database increases every day.
